We're baaaaaaaack

Hello again Washington!  Though we're not taking up residence (yet) Bjorn and I thouroughly enjoyed our eight day stay with our families in Northwest Washington.  We packed a perfect amount of amazing activities into our short visit so I'll describe just a few of my favorite moments.

Favorite family member to see:  Brookelyn!  She is our brand new neice- six days old when we saw her!  What a sweetheart!  We are thrilled to have her in our extended family and are glad she is such a good baby for her parents.   These are a few of my favorite faces of hers.

Favorite Graham Family Adventure:  the cruise!  We went on one day/one night cruise with Bjorn's parents, Grandma, and sister.  The elegant relaxation was sublime.  We ended in Seattle and spent a somewhat tired day  (too much cruise fun) seeing the sights.

Hello Seattle!
must have been a big regatta or something- millions of sailboats seen from Discovery park.

Favorite Murray Family adventure:  sailing with seals! (and porpoises).  We set out in the Murrmaid for a quick jaunt, with no wind of course.  A few seals popped their heads up near us as we exited the marina.  As we made our way around Burrows island we started noticing some splashes around us.  As we scanned the waters we saw something jumping out of the water, everywhere!  With our great expertise we decided they were porpoises (too small to be orcas and didn't look like dolphins).  There were so many!  And after we turned off the engine to watch, they were so close to us!  as in: 20 feet away!  It was incredible, they just kept jumping!  I love the ocean.

Favorite spiritual moment:  attending a session in the Vancouver temple with my husband.  I always love going back to BC, and finally being able to be inside this temple I have been waiting for years was a treat.  I even saw a few people I knew (old Bishops, Stake Presidents) who are now temple workers or in the temple Presidency.    It is a very small temple and the Canadians are so happy to have it.
