Bjorn and Coleen met when Coleen's family moved to Anacortes, Washington in 2005. She moved home for the summer and began preparing for an LDS mission. Bjorn happened to be in the same singles ward, (he'll say they met on a beach) and they dated quite a bit. 2 3/4 years later after both returned from their missions the stars aligned and with a bit of fairy dust a marvelous relationship was born once again. Bjorn moved to Utah where Coleen was working in hopes of winning her heart and pursing his own education. It worked! They were married in the Seattle Temple on July 31, 2009. Currently Coleen works as pediatric RN and Bjorn plays with metal and fixes everything in sight, while working towards his degree.
